1. LEGAL WARRANTY OF CONFORMITY – 12 MONTHS
In accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) 140/2021, natural persons (consumers) are granted a legal warranty of conformity for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery.
The warranty exclusively covers lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the product.
The legal warranty does not cover defects resulting from:
- improper installation;
- incorrect use or overloading;
- failure to comply with technical specifications;
- subsequent interventions on the product;
- defects caused by other components of the vehicle;
- failure to replace consumables (oil, filters, gaskets, etc., as applicable).
The warranty applies strictly to the sold part and does not cover installation, removal costs, or any indirect damages.
2. TECHNICAL / COMMERCIAL WARRANTY – 30 DAYS
A commercial warranty of 30 days is granted from the date of receipt of the package, for the purpose of installation and testing of the product.
To benefit from the commercial warranty, the following are mandatory:
- installation in an RAR-authorized service;
- presentation of the installation invoice;
- notifying the seller before any disassembly in case of an issue.
The commercial warranty is separate and does not replace the legal warranty of conformity.
3. RIGHT OF RETURN – 14 DAYS (for distance orders)
For orders placed online or by phone, the consumer has the right to withdraw within 14 calendar days from receiving the product, only if:
- the product has not been installed;
- it shows no signs of use;
- it is returned in the same condition in which it was delivered.
The return shipping cost is borne by the buyer.
NOTE
The products sold are second-hand auto parts, checked before delivery, and may show normal signs of handling or storage without affecting functionality.
The customer declares that the vehicle on which the part will be installed complies with the manufacturer’s original technical configuration.
In the case of gearboxes, the oils must be replaced (ATF or MTF) using only OEM VW oils. This rule also applies to engines.
The warranty is not granted for vehicles that have undergone software modifications to the engine management system, including chip tuning, DPF OFF, AdBlue OFF, EGR OFF, or any other interventions on the ECU.
